If you can access it you can do it, probably on the side stand would be enough. You're raising the rear to add more weight on the nose, and change the rake/trail too.
Just done mine... Gap measured about 9.5mm at start and 1 full turn took it to 13mm. Did the calibration afterwards. Nut turns easy enough, just stuck an Allen key in the hole to move it.. haven't got a clue what to expect when I have a run out [emoji2373][emoji23]
Drop the front forks through the yokes about 10mm.
It reduces the trail.
You will need a couple more clicks on the steering damper to compensate.
