After having a moan about the slipperiness of stock rearsets on the 2016, I am looking to swap them, however, looking at the ones out there, I would ideally like to try some before I buy....

What do you recommend in terms of sitting on a bike and seeing how they feel? We could all get together somewhere and line all the bikes up???

I have HP rearsets on mine, you can have them set exactly as stock so would feel no different (apart from the grippy pegs and slightly instrusive heal guards), I have mine on the lowest setting for more leg room, its only 10mm lower so not night and day but there is more space. No issues with ground clearance on the road although I found it too easy to touch my boot down on track at that setting. You can also raise the pegs 20mm from std (too high for me!) and forward and back. I guess what I'm saying is that they (or other adjustable rearsets) offer the option for you to improve your riding position over std, just don't expect them to suddenly make you feel like you have R1200GS levels of comfort.

HP Rearsets

I would highly recommend the HP Rearsets as they offer a great range of adjustability. They are expensive but given that they are made by Gilles the build quality is excellent.

Yeah the stock pegs are slippery as **** in the wet! Is the peg position ok or do you also want adjustability? I was happy with the stock position so I ordered some replacement Gilles pegs (?60 for the pair...same pegs as HP rearsets) ....here's the link for UK distributor: http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com...15-/2015/categories/footrests-and-handlebars/

Cavey's peg replacement does seem best VFM. If you don't need the extra room/adjustment of rear sets then why spend more?

Just buy a set you like the look of, they are all much of a muchness.
Lightech, AP, Gilles, HP, R&G, Diamond. I assume Stephen can still do a good deal on Diamond...
