Hi guys I've just bought a 2013 S1000RR which I am converting to track and want to decat it. It currently has the stubby akrapovic end can which will be too loud for noise testing as far as I can imagine as they do no baffle for it. Im therefore looking for either a longer end can or full system second hand but unsure as to which will come in under the magic 101db's. Any advice please.....I've seen an arrows competition evo that comes with a baffle for example but still looks stubby so not sure if it will be ok? I would prefer as shorter exhaust can as possible ideally as prefer the look. Thanks!

Worth noting the bikes discussed in the linked thread are 3rd gen, a 2013 is a 2nd gen. Engine and exhausts are different.

Yup noticed that when I was reading through it but there did seem to be a general consensus around full length akrapovic being the safest option for track noise limits.

Yeah mine's been no bother - the HP4 Ti silencer is slightly smaller (as it's supposed to be used with a catalytic converter), so I think this is making the difference for the HP4's getting black flagged.

Thanks I'll take a look at those as could do without forking out akrapovic full system prices 😕
