In an effort to get the bike to turn in quicker i've just dropped my forks through the yolks its now showing 5 rings on the top of the forks and have also flipped the rear shock top mount pin to raise the rear , have any of you guys done this and what were the results :)

It will help , some people have turned the ring on the back shock to also try and speed up the turn in , downside is finding the balance so you dont have a twitchy bike i suppose.
a decent aftermarket rear shock can be adjustable anyway , mine was

I thought about doing this but am a bit wary it's going to turn the bike into a tank-slapping beast so at the moment erring on the side of life preservation :) Let us know how you get on with it mate.

I flipped the nut thingy ma bob in rear shock. Did raise ride height but if you've had your sag correctly done by someone then get it remeasured. For me the small ride height adjustment caused my body weight to shift slightly more forward which added 5ml to front preload and took 3ml from rear.
