only real benefit of an aftermarket is that you can clean them, actual performance gain isn't really worth the cost.

i'd say k+n are about right price wise, plus easy to clean, MWR etc go for silly money, i sold a 2nd hand 1 for ?100!!

Bmc race filter never left anything through

Well documented sprint leaving stuff though for 1-1.5hp

Or buy from some partys and makes 40hp more

BMC if you want a decent reusable filter or just use OEM.

FWIW I had a long conversation with RS2E who tune engines and they said dont bother with aftermarket filter. Keep to stock filter. It does a fine job, its cheap and just replace it for a new one rather cleaning out Sprint ones etc...

Unless the bikes doing standing 1/4's etc where 1000th's of a second counts, I can't see the point of changing from OE.
