There is a bit of a gap but not that much ! May sound daft but have you made sure it's fitted properly? If you don't make sure it's all fitting it will sit up like that.

That's what I thought but I looked, it's deffo in properly. looking at Google images it looks like a common problem

Basically, you need a file to shorten the pegs the front bracket is fixed to. Even a nail file would do, but it'd be slow!

Not BMW but , I got one for my Fireblade and the fit and finish was spot on. ?200 compared to ?15 , no brainier really.

Same here. ?15 for a black seat cowl on a CBR1000RRA. Fitted perfectly and looked the part at a bargain price.
