Can u put a downshifter on a pre 2015 ? I understand that as long as the bike has a slipper clutch u can use it .is this right?

my understanding is that the likes of HM do an up and down that can be used yeah, not sure about the slipper clutch part though but as you have one its not really a question anyway.

not sure which of the HM ones has it but a quick google will show you and i think there are others too

Its not for me
but have friends that have earlier bikes and wanted to know if it was possible
would be a good upgrade

Thinking about it, just trying to justify the cost as it's a track bike. Prob will wilt and get one in the end :)

2x sticky points. Removing the tank. Is that easy? Does it just unbolt? No fuel leak?

And secondly no idea what this pos 3.6 tS means.

"Attention: Blipper quick shifter is preadjusted on revers shifting! If blipper shift sensor will be used on bikes with OEM ECU programming there might be a different adjustment necessary (pos. 3.6 „tS” in the adjustement menue from „98” to „80”). "

Fuel Tank Removal

Removing the fuel tank is relatively simple but time consuming. Although not necessary, I generally drain the tank completely prior to removal as it just makes the process easier.

The fuel pipe connector is self-sealing though you may get a slight dribble whilst removing.

Basically, remove driver seat and tank trims.Disconnect the two breather pipes(push-on).Remove the tx30 torx screws (one either side-through frame) and the long 6mm(10mm head)bolt at the rear of the tank.Raise the tank and disconnect the two wiring plugs and remove the fuel pipe by squeezing the clip(the quicker you do this, the less fuel spillage).Lift off the tank.

When refitting the tank, the fuel pipe pushes straight in and locks itself.

Removing tank is an easy job
it has a quick release connector , as I did when I installed pcv
its easier to strip than some bikes I've worked on
put acro full system on which was quite frankly an easy but time consuming job

Now this is insteresting if true - found on another part of the interwebs;

"just looked at those Alpha blipper install instructions and I am 99% certain that the blipper Alpha is selling is the IRC blipper:

- Control box looks the same, but with Alpha sticker
- Harnessing looks the same
- Connections look the same
- Programming instructions look the same
- QS strain gauge sensor looks exactly the same"

The IRC is less ???'s so if it IS a rebranded IRC then the Alpha should be ignored. Whilst taking on board that Alpha liked it enough to put their name on it.
