Morning guys,
any ideas on this one?
coming home yesterday sitting at traffic lights, was in neutral, pulled in clutch to go for first gear, couldn't get it, had to let clutch out and in 2 or 3 times before I could get the gear, this happened a couple of times.
Other problem, was coming towards roundabout in traffic, coming down gears, into 3rd, clutch in tried for 2nd never felt anything untoward but when I let clutch out had no gear and gear indicator on dash went blank?

Check the mechanism from the foot control to the box first of all...see if it has unexpected levels of play.

Or if it's seizing up, if it's too tight and doesn't return to its central position then you won't be able to change gears consecutively. If it happens again just try tapping it in the opposite direction than you want to go and try again.

Have you checked your clutch is adjusted correctly?

Can't see anything obvious, so bike is being picked up soon and taken to motoradd, impressed with motoradd service, I live a good bit away so they are coming to collect the bike, giving me a 4 series BMW which I can keep till bike is back or drive it to motoradd and leave it and pick a replacement bike

Good treatment you're getting there DCB. They are obviously going to try to sell you a new 4 Series, haha, method in their madness.

Hope it gets fixed easily.
