Thought id post this in case anyone else was interested; I was looking for something to blank off the pillion foot rest holes after removal but a) didn't want to spend 30 quid doing it and b) didn't want a plate or something with a brand or writing on it.

The solution i have found is this;

Pro bolt M8x20 counter sunk in aluminium (Black) all colours available

https://www.pro-bolt.com/aluminium/...m-countersunk-bolt-m8-x-1-25mm-x-20mm-23.html

Pro bolt countersunk washer in aluminium (Black) all colours available.

Total ?11 inc delivery

will post a pic when they arrive

Cheers Ant, I may purchase them and reduce the taper to a flat face in the lathe.
Paul.

I orderd them last night too. Not sure how often I'll use them but they are good to have for a tenner.

hmmm that gives me something to think about, i picked up a set of R&G ones for ?20 2nd hand but was just going to get the one I needed powder coated rather than have it advertising R&G, but this may suffice :)

I saw thoes fitted to a bike on a picture Alex but couldn't find them! Not sure I'd want to pay the 40 quid still.

i think the dome head would be slightly prettier but they were about 10 mill too long. The washer on these uses up about 5mm

That was one of my considerations mick. I didn't really want r&g on them
