Just a quick one, what paint protection (if any) have people used?

I have been talking to a local detailer who specialises in ceramic coating the paint, from his pictures it looks like a mega process! Anyone on here had anything like this done before?

Cheers, Craig

Venture shield on mine from new, does what it says on the tin. Suggest you invest in a rad guard too if you don't have one - evotech recommended

I've got XPEL paint protection film on mine. 4k miles later and the bike still looks brand new, not even so much as a swirl mark.

Yeah that is on my list to buy, I see people seem to either go for evotech or the R&G. Any difference between them or did you find the evo just fitted better?

The Evotech one bolts on using existing mounts whereas the R&G is held on by cable ties IIRC.

Evotech it is then Haha! Don't like the sound of cable ties as part of the install!

That xpel looks like a really good product! I'm still interested in how this ceramic coating would turn out, they even coat the wheels.

Might give it a go, worst case I get a very expensive detailing on the bike for a few months haha it's supposed to last for 3 years tho.

Either way I can pop some pictures up.

My friend ceramic coated his Vette. Did look amazing for it. Not sure how suitable it is for bikes.

Someone I know has just had his car ceramic coated. I think he paid something like ?700. I can't see much difference but if I'd spent that much I'm sure I'd think it was amazing. I had ventureshield applied to my HP4 and it did the job.
