Dunlop have already issued a statement citing a manufacturing defect.

Dunlops are able to run very low pressures anyway

actually,just noticed the rim,i didn't think carbon rims are allowed in racing,or is it just certain FIM/ACU etc regs (answering my own question there i guess,but what other classes can you run carbon rims?)

You can now run carbon fibre wheels in British Superstock 1000 if originally homologated. Plenty of the BMW STK teams are using both the M carbon fibre and forged wheels.
