Dont know did ye see the news. All northern racing officially cancelled. Nw200, short circuits everything.

South yet to give up but in a worse position.

All down to cant get insurance at anyway reasonable level.

Quite disappointing.

be intersting to see how the TT gets on if liability costs have risen so much

Insurance companies and laws/policies requiring them, take the fun out of life since records began.

Well latest update. South is gone too.

No racing in Ireland 2023. Not roads, mx, enduro, trials, short circuits. Nothing

Govt. needs to sort that out. It's a huge tourist boost to the economy and they should foot the bill.

Unfortunately our government will never help. We're the unsocial lunatics at a extremely dangerous sport according to them.

News will only report bad news with the sport.

Its not just road racing. Its all disciplines of racing with 2 wheels and a engine.

Im 5 years at it and nothing more than minor cuts or bruises.

My commiserations to you and all Irish and Ulster folks. Surely there is enough groundswell within the populations there to push back, pay the council taxes into a legal stronghold fund instead or some form of protest at the Insurance companies HQ's or taking it even to Lloyds of London to get the real cost of insurance lowered.

Road racing is a cultural thing on the island of Ireland surely someone will grasp at this nettle and force it through the system to get it back to where it was?

Fingers crossed for you all from an Englishman!
