AIUI, the issues with Evans were two-fold - he was running the show and was responsible for it being a second-rate rehash of an already tired formula, when it could have been reinvented as something truly wonderful, and as a presenter he varied between being annoying and being less than he could have been. The biggest potential improvement from his departure is the possibility that the format could be changed substantially. As regards being annoying, he's Sunday league compared to Eddie Jordan.
