New member, new BMW owner

Hello,

I am mainly a trackday rider and having seen the number of S1000RR's at most trackdays and after speaking with many very satisfied owners, I have decided to join the club! I am upgrading from a 600 and I am looking forward to riding a full superbike (and first BMW) with all the modern electronic rider aids. Another plus for the S1000RR was the fact that, unlike many of its competitors, the bike is reported to be good on the road as well. Therefore, I do not plan to convert to a full track bike but hope to do some road riding as well. I am excited! I look forward to learning about my new bike from the members on the forum and participating as I gain experience and have information to share.
