My Dealer (Joe Duffy's in Dublin) told me last month that they are taking no more new orders for the S1000RR - no reason given? I presumed that it was because a new model was on the way but reading the above has me alarmed a little? It would be a shame if BMW drops this amazing range of motorbikes. I am still loving my 2021 K67 m package.

Phoned the dealer just now and the reason for no new orders now is they are "between models" but they don't have any details on the new bike or any time frame for its launch but dismissed rumours of the bike being completely dropped as rubbish.

The salesman I bought my last 3 new S1000RR's from reckoned the bike makes too much money for BMW to drop it.

I bought a used one from bmw. 9 months old cost the original owner £24,595 with every option apart from the carbon pack which i bought directly from limberger at a third of the pricei got it for 18k with 850 miles on it so.a good saving if you factor in the 1st service cost i probably saved 7k
