Mode and DTC on a 2012 bike

Hi All

Only just got the new bike so can some explain how the DTC works please.

The bike does have the slick mode activated but not ridden the bike as its a track bike.

On this year of bike is the only options I have to put the bike in particular mode and that's it? or can you tweak TC and anti wheelie settings further.

I believe on the Gen 2 RR's the only ABS/DTC options are the Sport, Race and Slick modes. I don't believe it's possible to adjust the DTC incrementally.

No S1K has independently adjustable wheelie control though as it is tied in with the DTC mode.
Sport has the most wheelie control, Slick has the least (essentially none).

You can however turn off the ABS and/or DTC if you desire

Oli is correct. DTC only became variable with the Gen2 HP4 and then only in certain modes.

Yup - with DTC switched on the longest wheelie you get is 5 secs before it kicks in, scolds you, and tells you to behave like a grown up

If it's anything like the gen 1, as soon as the front wheel hits the ground again it gives you whatever amount of throttle is open immediately which was hairy to say the least lol !
