Very shrewd signing by Tyco, Dunlop has winning coursing through his veins. Never seen more determination from a rider.

Think he will add to his tally of victories for sure if the TT Gods are looking after him.

Good luck to all the riders this year, can't wait.

Should be a slam dunk if the bike works.

I can't see the HP4-Race getting a go with Dunlop. He'll not want to risk it.

However if they are going to use one Kneen has nothing to lose.

Tyco BMW

There's very little chance any of the top BMW teams (Tyco BMW and Smiths Racing) will bother, or risk, using a HP4 Race especially as they will have already built the Superbikes to be used in the Senior TT. There is nothing particularly special about it when you compare it to a full Superbike specification S1000RR with a 6.2/7.2 HP engine fitted. This year will be a battle between Hickman and Dunlop as all the other main riders are either injured or on less competitive machinery.

Agreed

I can only see the HP4 being used by a privateer, as for them its pretty much a turn key tt machine, saves a lot of messing about.

Great move from Tyco , might just save them from losing the " factory " tag . Honours will be between Dunlop and Hickman I think . Glad I'm back at the IOM this year .

So am I Dunc, it's always sunny when you are there, last year was a wash out half the time.

Great deal for Tyco and Dunlop, potential unbeatable partnership but I wouldn't discount Hickman.

Hicky was special last year right enough Budgie, on the podium in every race he entered but still not on the top step.
Good bet for a win, quite like the big fella.

I?m sure I read somewhere Michael was testing the new Gixer and he was not happy after testing. Too many issues and uncompetitive.

I thought he tested earlier in the year as well.
