Slighly proud of myself as I'm going to have to throw away my rear K3 because its worn down on right hand side, plenty of tread in the middle, which is a first for me
My smugness is tempered by the fact that the tyre did less than 800 miles, although I guess days at Thruxton and Brands go a long way to explaining that. Most of my riding is and will remain on the road, where I get 2,500 miles tops out of a K3. I was considering changing to the M7RR to get a bit more life out the tyre in general use. I was wondering what other's experience of switching between the tyres was in terms of;
1. Road life of the M7 (might be too early to tell, it's a pretty new tyre I think)
2. What the difference on track will be - I know it's less sticky. On the basis of having bike on track three times (but only one proper track day so far) I'm med Inters standard.
Cheers
