metzeler racetec tyre profile 190/50 profile is it ok?

i ordered a rear tyre ....190/50-17 73W ZR Metzeler RACE TEC INTERACT K3 by mistake.. the OEM tyre has a profile of 190/55..
i am mainly a road user.. would this make a difference or dangerous??

any help advice please//

You feel a difference going from a 50/55 cut your losses and flog it on ebay. It won't feel the same.

it wouldnt be dangerous at all , it might do your TC's head in a bit , but i doint think much more , if youve just ordered it , send it back and ask for replacement...
personally i would use it , theres no way my arse would notice 5mm or profile....having said that ive had mixed tires and even turned race tecs backwards depending on the track...........
