Read the thread back and quote where I brought up pads to change subject. You're a grade A gaslighter.

The article predates the RST version.
It talks of the RS compound which is slightly different.

But anyway do what you want. Personally I stick with the advice from the manufacturer.

And it was Scooby that brought back the topic of brakes re me not following advise here. So it is my right to reply back and defend myself.

Yes different slightly, but RST is the direct successor of RS. Also, CarpiMoto, who are being handled by experts like Luccio Cuchinello EXPRESSLY states in their product page of all DS pads that it does NOT need any THERMAL bedding-in. How about that?
