I've had 50 degrees each side on my favourite road. Was on it today but was only just into the low 40s. Need to work on my body positioning.

this was a few weeks ago in mid wales. Ive seen 54 on the left but not this time, will try harder when the roads warm up. :)

What do we all reckon the big boys were doing at the Texas MotoGP recently? Maybe it was the camera angles but they looked extra leaned over (weather, tarmac?).

Lean Angle

Ironically, my last crash was with a lean angle of only 15?... albeit on a very wet track and at 124 mph!

Guys just a quick question what's the most lean angle your getting down at just curious?

I've got Bridgestone S 21s on my bike and I'm in the mid 40's most rides and the highest I've had on the road is 54 with no problems

Stopping from 100m/s in 5s, the deceleration would be 20m/s2 not -20. -20 would be the acceleration (N.B. deceleration is just acceleration in the opposite direction).

The dash is not showing deceleration of 25m/s2 (just over 2.5g) - IIRC that is the % of intervention from the TC. The clue (other that sportsbikes don't brake at 2.5g) is that the unit is % not m/s2.
You seem to have registered ~5m/s2 braking - which is about 0.5g.

Often get 43 deg with a pillion on board riding around on the roads, get my knee down on track from 45degrees

Think the most I've had on the road is 54 degrees on the right, although I only get the knee down from ~ 50 degrees onwards.

Not sure whether that's just bad body position on my part, or maybe just my Cumberland sausage thighs restricting movement lol!

Thanks A, braking now understood (note to self, must pay attention in the future). Re. TC intervention, what does 25% relate to? Surely it wasn't working 25% of the time?

I thought it would be percentage the throttle was closed to maintain grip. So if you ask for 100% is only gave you 75% (i.e. 25% on the dash).

Current road pb is 38 left 41 right, must try harder! no trackdays yet..

Yes I kind of side with Alex. My understanding was that it was the percentage of power that was cut at any given time. So if for example you asked for full acceleration in first with a pillion on, the electronic nanny cut 25% of power to keep you in a straight line with the front on the ground....
