Key + Barrel

I have picked up a rear seat from an older gen1/2 bike for touring purposes. Its has a barrel set to work with *any* key, however that key is a 2010-2014 not the 2017 one.

Does anyone have a key and/or lock barrel they can sell me?

the barrel and all the parts to make it work with your key are only ?20 from a dealer, they are easy to set up.

I guess I could just fit a 2017 spec barrel for my key

the keys and barrels are all the same on all the s1000 range, theres a few vids on youtube on how to code the barrel to your key
