Most drop a tooth at the front to a 16T. Its for punch out of 2nd/3rd/4th gear corners more than drag racing though.

I've heard of +1/-1

Is this a good setup?

EDIT: Might of been -1/+1 can't remember

The greater the difference between the gears the more acceleration. But it will also pick the nose up faster.
I'd try 16/45 (-1/0) and see if you want to go further with it.

Been speaking to HM performance and I think I'm going to set aside.. ?2500 for them to make it the best it can possibly be, they have convinced me to get a full akra so thats what I'm going to do haha, full akra, remap, sprocket change, power commander

They fitted a stage 1 dyno kit to my 99 R1 and tuned it up after I fitted a full system, did a fantastic job, they also sorted my suspension out on my 400 race bike too.

Never heard anything bad about them and I used them as far back as 05/06 :peaceful:

Yeah I'm really excited, they said Austin racing is very bad and boasted I could get 200+ bhp at the rear wheel with a map and akra, costing me ?2800 for sprockets, air filter, exhaust, pcv and map

Full Exhaust System

Someone has clearly fallen for the aftermarket parts sales pitch...

I cant use all the power on my standard bike, best money I've spent in the last couple of years has been on adjustable rearsets and quality leathers which have really helped with comfort and movement on the bike

Ooft a canny keep up man, " it's not right, is right, not right, rejecting the bike , keeping the bike, its fast it's slow, now it ?2800 fur a zorst. Aw the best fur whatever ye do bud

I totally agree with Macs comments, really has transformed the way I sit and move on the bike with rear sets, stomp grip and Dainese leathers which fit me perfectly. Fair play if you're spending almost ?3k on other mods though, we all do things that make us happy :triumphant:

Off topic but, which leathers did you go for Mac?

I'd worn ?500 Alpinestars leathers like most people do over the years but found I was using less and less as they were heavy, didn't fit brilliantly and hot in summer. So wanted something light, comfy and breathable, kangaroo skin seemed to tick the boxes on this front but m2m very expensive. So after some research found Held made a Kangaroo / Cow combo suit (Slade) for a grand, went to Sportsbikeshop and tried it on - what a difference, supple, light, stretchy, built in armour and easy to get on and off. Had them a couple of months now and very happy - wish I'd spent more on leathers years ago!!
