Hello from Hong Kong. Its really incredible how easy bmw made a liter bike to ride and how much more user driendly it ia from my old ducati,

Well I jumped the other way! I have to agree though that my HP4 was much easier to ride than my current steed...

Nice bike Ian, great to see a bike like that being ridden, I know some guys keep them as ornaments and investments.

Only Superleggera I have seen on the road was an Italian rider at the TT last year who was flanked by his friends, two of whom were riding Desmos. Really impressed me cause they had obviously ridden over from home laden to the max with camping gear and panniers, Italian Exotica covered in road muck and sounding awesome, it made my day seeing them.

I take the view that they are built to be ridden; to just hoard them away is a real waste.

Not surprisingly it is really entertaining to ride :)
