I binned OEM chain and rear sprocket after 600 miles, don't like surface corrosion you get with standard chain after weekend away in wet. Looking much better now with DID gold and supersprox.

Thanks Rross i think the same oem chain looks like a cheap **** ;)

Did You use the same length of chain ( 525 ) or shorter 520 ?

525 is the width, the length is 120 links. I kept it as 525 then didn't need to change front sprocket.

Chain Size

You are confusing chain size and chain length. The terms 525 and 520 refer to pitch and have nothing to do with chain length. The latter is generally used on race/track bikes as a 520 pitch chain is marginally lighter thereby reducing unsprung weight. For the 2015/16 model the chain length is 120 links and the pitch is 525. Finally, if you alter chain pitch you will also need to purchase corresponding sprockets.

Chain & Sprockets

I generally use D.I.D chains and Renthal sprockets. That said you can't really go wrong with any of the top brands.

I am having the same thoughts myself.
My personal favourite is the Austin Racing can, and will probably get one from Motorcycle Live later in the year.
Plus I am thinking if I wait a little longer then perhaps some of the other exhaust makers like Leo Vince may have bought something out (had them on Fireblade and really liked it)
