Time has come chaps... this has been covered loads but maybe a wee refresher wouldnt be bad... who uses comparison sites ? Ive been on a few I see Asda uses Bikeinsurers system branded Asda well the format and results were identical so I guess it is.

Anyone had any success going direct to provider rather than an aggregator... Mind im sitting on 9 plus a minor bump in my car.

My lifes good the now so far this month:

?1800 uni fees.
New Polo for daughter 2.
Extended BMW Warranty due now
HP4 Insurance Due now
Home insurance due now

I use the comparison sites, but I swear they just pick numbers out of the air. I also check Quidco before I buy to see if there are any insurers offering cashback.

It's an online cash back site, totalcashback is another one. I got ?25 cash back on my insurance and ?37.50 on my breakdown cover. It's not loads, but it's better in your pocket than theirs.

I always use comparison sites, last time my bike insurance was due for renewal i put in an online search and it was ?40 cheaper then the renewal price i had been quoted, Phoned them up and they said it must be an internet special as they couldn't match it which i found strange as it was the same provider so hence went with the online one, Something similar last time with my car insurance but when i phoned them to cancel they matched the best price i got!!!!! Pays to shop about i guess
