Mines booked in at Bmw for a service on friday and I have told them about the switch.
Hopefully they will sort it.

I took it to Bmw for the service and they did change the switches for free.

Just bought my 2012 rr sport privately. Turns out the indicators won't cancel. It's only got 8k miles so I'm hoping BMW would help out as a goodwill gesture.

Definitely worth a go but I hear they've stopped that since January
Stephen could be your new best friend as he's been known to fix them

I agree it's definitely worth a try for a good will claim.
However if they decide not to play ball drop me a pm and I'll have a go at fixing it if you like
