Are nice but a mare to keep clean..... any tips to share please, in terms of cleaning products / brushes to use?

Once clean I use a Maguires nanotechnology clean on them, after each ride I wipe with a microfiber cloth and they go straight back to mint, I'm not obsessed with cleaning with water all the time.

Just remember that the official line from BMW is "only water"
They will take no responsibility if any cleaning products are used, fortunately my first bike that had the defect on the paint finish was replaced.

Did you dry them off with a fresh lamb Loupe, I have heard that Highlanders have more than one use for a sheep but I was struggling to think?

wd40 sprayed on cloth then wipe the crap off.

cheap pack of baby wipes, and if its tough us alittle dw40 or ac90 with them. It slides off then.
