Hello all,
after putting about 6000 km on my new-used s1000rr I've decided to join the community. I am from Croatia, riding sports bikes for about 10 years now. Started with a cbr600rr, crashed and repaired multiple times and now re-purposed as a dedicated track-bike.
The s1000rr was bought a couple months ago with 6400 km and 6 entries in the service book. Its the 2010 model, but from a very reliable source (82 year old driver).
After getting annoyed buy a buzzing sound @ around 3k rpm I came to lurk around and see if anyone here has the same issue. The sound is not coming from the engine (phuh) but from the tank cap :stupid:. Pressing down on it removes the noise (almost like valve ticking sound) so hoping to find a solution or help here. Earplugs are a band-aid solution right now.
Even though the electronics are not last gen, its still a very capable bike for sure.
