Helmet Painting

Most of the helmet painters look as though they know what they are doing.. unfortunately its a long queue you join.. im thinking of the hydro dipping now.. need to strip my Arai..wonder if theres a video showing the procedure....

Hydro dipping wont affect the structure in any way then?

Quite sure of it mac they lacquer it over I think the film will protect the shell from the lacquer which im sure will be solvent based.. I will ask tho...

Aye mate place in Ayr, been in discussion with them last week but work caught up with me. Will pick up where we left off... quoted ?130 tho I never asked if it was plus VAT. Reasonable I thought considering paint is at least 350 to 500 and everyone is booked up to their tits... looking march 17 for paint. Can get it dipped say for Dec-Jan.17...

I think so too... next problem is stripping it... Ryan advised an Arai centre... I dont fancy stripping the rubber/neoprene visor seal...
