Hello from Cork & London

Hopefully getting a Black 2012 one this month, test drove one yesterday, WOW. Been after one for a couple of years and nearly bought a Gixer 750 then drove past the BMW dealer and remembered it.

One question though, commuting in London is it a bit extreme for this? I will though take it home a couple of times a year to Ireland.

welcome mate, gixxer to s thou myself. commuting in london, no more of an issue than any other sports bike fella. loads of ponies but all easy to use....or not use. enjoy

All those ponies generate a lot of heat and the bike likes to keep moving

Well sold my old commuter bike and sorted a black sport yesterday.

Looking forward to picking it up and blasting to Pembroke and then to cork for a weekend at home.

Wife will be disappointed new vehicle still only has 2 wheels, **** happens when you work in London.
