Hello everyone :)

My name is Sean and I sold my Yamaha R1 to purchase a 2012 BMW 1000RR, It was purchased brand new in September last year :) I have had some great rides out on it but last month I noticed that the sprocket moved side to side about 4 to 5 mil, I went back to the dealers hu said they don't no what's wrong with it so they have contacted Germany and they don't no what's wrong. they have changed the wheel but the problem still persists. Any ideas what I can do as the dealers seem to be fodding me off

Hi sean,

Welcome mate, im new myself.....so cant help with the technical question as i dont pick my new s1krr for another 2 weeks.........:-(. however sounds worrying if the germans cant even sort it????

Welcome abort Sean, you`ll find that the guys/girls on this site know everything there is to know about S1000rr/hp4 on here, Its a great forum I`ve learned so much just in the couple of month I`ve been a member, I`m sure you`ll love your s1K, I also sold my 11 plate R1 for my HP4 and I`d always say the R1 was a great bike and sounds awesome but the S1000/hp4 is in a different league and love it
