Hi everyone, thought I'd finally join the forum after picking my (impromptu) Gen 1 up back in June. It was Avon tyres' test bike before Goodyear decided Avon didn't need to exist anymore. I found the bike by accident and ended up buying it to sell on for a profit, but I've wanted a S1000RR since they were first released so I've decided to keep her.

I've ridden her up and down the road but unfortunately I've not had a chance to test her out on track yet due to shoulder surgery earlier in the year. Anyway, here she is for your all to see...I can't wait to put her through her paces next season.

Thanks Alex, it's going to be a long wait over winter but I'm really looking forward to next year. Need to get rid of a few other bikes to create some space/funds (and keep the wife happy) but just opening the garage and looking at her makes me smile enough at the moment
