Right, i made two booboos today.

One, i realised i was using Tapatalk (Rubbish) instead of the real forum, hence i have dropped the Mr from MrBarron.

Two, whilst posting in attempt to get advice regarding my garage renovation i inadvertently posted an instruction manual on the internet on how to burgle me. Something which another member kindly pointed out and deleted. (Thanks again).

SO.

When cementing in a ground anchor, what is the best cement to use?

I am not overly fussed with how long it will take to go off, just that when it does go off it will be impossible to break besides digging it up.

Cheers,

Barron

Hi Barron, If you are mixing the concrete by hand, use a 4,4,3 mix. 4 Sand 4 stones, 3 cement. Put as much rebar in the hole as you can at different angles and through the metal work that you are casting in, use a piece of wood to tamp the concrete with to remove the air, this will give it much more strength.
Dig the hole in a bell shape too much wider at the bottom. like Kim Kardashian.

Good luck.
