Advice please, How many clicks should the steering damper be set too or has anyone changed it for an aftermarket item?

Seem to get lots of steering shakes under hard accelerations

Advice please, How many clicks should the steering damper be set too or has anyone changed it for an aftermarket item? Seem to get lots of steering shakes under hard accelerations

For the OEM steering damper the manual states 4 clicks for track use and 8 clicks for road use. To be honest just adjust it to whatever works for you. I have an ?hlins steering damper fitted and the only benefit is you get more adjustability and a smoother action.

it's all down to the suspension/road+track variations more than anything,so as with suspension,you set to suit you+conditions

Its so easy to adjust just give it another click in or out while riding if its a little unsettled. I end up winding it back out when maneuvering the bike back into the garage.
