OK, so sofar I got the top linkage adjusted, it was out about 3 teeth/splines clockwise, so I've removed it rotated anti clockwise and lined up the mark with the cut out. That has lowered the top and raised the bottom a fair bit, but I still feel I need to raise the actual foot lever.

Can this be done using just one of the rose joints? Or does it need to be an equal amount of turns each end?

Can be done using just one yes

Super, I still haven't tightened the top rose joint down, so I'll just adjust it at the upper one. And return with findings hopefully at the weekend

just make sure to thread lock it when you do it,they have habbit of working loose

Finally got a test run, problem 100% solved, hard to believe just moving the top arm the 3 splines forward has made all the difference, still need to adjust the rod to exactly where I want it, but it's back to factory shifting now.

Cheers for all the help guys.
