More advice please guys on my new steed. 1st service is Thursday, exactly a week after I took delivery and I want to know if I am able to ask them to correct the gear shift assist. Is the sensitivity adjustable? Up shifts are great, down shifts extremely "notchy", and requires a firm push. I've read all the remarks about making sure the throttle is completely shut and not touching the clutch etc etc but this has not solved the problem. Agree that at higher revs it's not such a problem but at lower rpm its effectively useless. Is there the option to fine tune?

Gear Shift Assist

Quickshifter sensitivity can not be adjusted as standard unless you purchase the extremely expensive HP Race Calibration Kit 3 which invalidates your warranty completely. The auto-blipper function and gear shift assist work better on a closed throttle with positive and firm input at the lever.

Ok thanks, shame it's not adjustable. I am being firm! Maybe will get a little better once the limiter has been lifted and I've got a few more mikes/changes under my belt. Thanks!

Both the Q/S and autoblipper on the RR (and GSA for that matter) work better the more revs you use, shifting does get a bit slicker as the miles go on

The shifter does indeed work better with more revs. Trust me..

Gear Shift Assist

The engine and gearbox do seem to get a lot better with mileage but in truth the latter is not as smooth as that of a Japanese superbike. The quickshifter works better at higher revs, as does the auto-blipper, and this is especially so on track.
