I have designed a bespoke lever guard for the S1000rr it retain the original bar end weight, still uses a 12mm bolt to attach it, and has a nice 90 degree bend at the bottom off the bar so it does not get in your Way. , it is length adjustable and will be machined in high quality Aluminum on a CNC mill , I am meeting with an engineering company today to look at the prodiction costs. It will be anodised black, any body interested I hope to produce them a a very resonable cost and there will be a 10% discount to forum members.

Yes, depending on price. From what I've seen them vary from ?50 to ?100 per side.

BMW have launched one themselves i got it priced yesterday it was ?116+vat, mine will be a hell of a lot cheaper than that! Just getting quotes done for the fab work then i will know if it viable but i will need enough interest. as minimum prodiction run will be 20 units

What happens if you don't have original bar weights (and they didn't come with the bike)

Do you have something to have a look at now?

If you have a look at http://alloysport.co.uk the design is based on their unit but with a special adaptor for the s1000rr as theirs does not work, it keeps the standard bar end weight makes the bar end 14mm longer that's all

Sorry guys, I have been extramly busy last week;

Here is an update Alloy Sport have opted not to work with me :ambivalence: so I have to design the rest of my own guard, which I will do this week . I need to make mine look diifferent to the orginal Alloy sport one.

I will have a cost for you all hopfully by Friday the 28th of March. I will upload a image to show everybody my design this week.

The product is going to be the first of many products from my new company Scorpion Motocycle Parts Ltd or S-moto-parts.com for short, website to launch soon

Idea for you...
Make a spur on the other side which a camera roll hoop mount can attach to. Et Voila fwd or reverse, wide mounted camera's we can drag near the ground when cornering.
