Full beam switch 2010 model

Hi all my full beam switch won't stay on unless I keep my finger on it!
Is this a common fault or a factory recall or am I just unlucky to have to spend money on it so soon[emoji23]

You do know it's flick AWAY for on and TOWARDS for flash right?

So if I'm just flashing I push it towards myself? If I want full beam to remain on I lift the switch up towards the screen?

Yes there's 3 positions.

Away = Full Beam Locked On
Centre = Off
Towards = Flash / Laptimer Trigger.
