Hi new member here.

I am running a 2016 bike on trackdays.
Have done Cadwell, Silverstone, Oulton and Anglesey.
The bike is standard with all the motosport extras and never misses a beat.
However the fuel usage is horrendous on track, not bothered about mpg, just wondering if this is normal.
Can anyone tell me how many miles they usually get to a full tank of fuel on track?

Cheers.

I'd probably get 80-90 miles till the light came on. (I'm not in the fast group)

Cheers.

I run at the fast end of the inters.
Which mode do you usually run the bike in?
I tend to run in RACE havn't tried SLICK.
I suppose the fuel usage would alter with the ignition interrupt from the TCS?

Its mainly affected by your time at WOT (wide open throttle) [emoji6].
I use USER mode on track. Don't trust myself with full slick mode! The engine is set to slick mode in user mode.

Fuel Consumption

The S1000RR uses a lot of fuel on track especially at some of the UK's faster circuits. I use the bike in SLICK mode and stopped caring about fuel consumption on track a long time ago. I generally take a couple of full jerry cans with me to each trackday and they normally come back empty. Just be thankful that your not using race fuel!
