Hiya all , had my first proper run out on the first gen RR yesterday, nearly 300 miles in total, bikes done 4000 mile from new ,got back and there was thick oil on the exhaust protection plate on the left hand side, it looks suspiciously like chain lube, I put a new chain on a few weeks back, I've had a few run outs on it and had a couple of blobs but there was quite a bit , ive added a picture to show the area that was covered . I've cleaned it all off but I was wondering has anyone heard of the shaft that the front sprocket sits on leaking ??

Slick mode ... It's the new legal high !!

I had one leak several years ago on a gen1-I replaced it with no difficulties. It's only a case of removing the sprocket, priseing out the old seal and carefully(oil it first)tapping the new one in on its' outer edge with a large socket/pipe or the old seal.
