My nephew posted this to me today (sorry, can?t link the article ... don?t know how!) so here?s a screenshot.

The general gist is that this poor RR unfolded itself whilst being rode. Now my nephew is trying to convince me that mines about to commit harikari. I know it?s complete bollox but I thought I?d share and invite a theoretical discussion. about possible causes. Personally i?d go with a cut n shut gone wrong but i?m no mechanic (or accident investigator come to that).

Wheelies, specifically clutched ones which crash down unceremoniously. It's not a stunt bike so don't treat it like one.

Built on a Friday bike, going to be one weak frame of any bike eventually.

But most likely a bike that had a bad crash and should have been wrote off but was repaired.
