Stuart, that bike was released around July last year to catch ALL speeders not just bikers, although it is being deployed in areas heavy with bikes. It is just like a camera van as far as equipment goes but can sit in more discreet places and is obviously harder to spot. Saw a pair of marked bikes patrolling Glenshee on Saturday which reminds me I have to go see the new CHiPs movie.

Take it easy big fella.

I don't have a problem with catching people using their phones whilst driving. It is a stupid thing to do and costs lives. It's about time the law was enforced.

On the way back from donny yesterday I got a single flash (I think) from an overhead gantry on the M1 near Barnsley. I was going 'quickly' but the gantry signs were off. Do you think I've been caught by a camera. Just seems very odd as I thought gantry cameras were off unless they were displaying a speed limit?

Think u find u need 2 flashes to determine distance travelled against time... Don't think illumination is necessary, just the warning signs

The standard fixed post cameras used in Scotland will flash once in your face for a warning and twice from behind for prosecution purposes, if they have cartridge in them.

Hope everything is ok Andy, was out yesterday with three friends and one of us got pulled and done with Dangerous Driving, I count myself very lucky, there but for the grace, etc.
