Got all the £160 monies refunded last week and an apology from BMW for taking so long in paying me back.
Aparently, BMW have issued instruction to all dealers to replace the faulty switch-gear and NOT to charge the customers at all. They recognize and accept the fault with the product and so they will fix bikes like mine that were outside of warranty
