I also have the RRG radiator guards from e-bay fitted and they work a treat. No overheating issues and easy to fit with the supplied lock wire or cable ties.

Thanks for all the posts and advice gents its much appreciated.

I was browsing instagram (being so youthful you know) at lunch & found a nice clean photo of an RRG radiator on an S1000. Ordered this evening, two tanks of petrol saved and his instruction video seems like they're more then adequate. Chap has an active Facebook messenger & got back to me quickly which is always nice.

Fitted an Evotech rad and oil cooler on mine. Had the same on mr 1000R and no problems with overheating.
