do the 2012 side panels fit on the 2010 model?

Just to make sure before I pay for the ilmberger side panels can somebody confirm that the 2012 side panels will fit my 2010?

I complained about them before too mate when they were setting my suspension up. What did they do to up set you?

Not to get on the KAIS beat up wagon but i ordered some Ohlins springs from them 2-3 days they told me when i placed the order over the phone. Took over a month to arrive with excuse after excuse.

It surprises me how some of these company's can stay in business. Most of these guys customer care is shocking.

What happened with KAIS ?


There are some absolute arseholes out there (Reative Parts, CRC Fairings). I won't be using these guys again

1. They relieved me of £50 of hard earned to set up the suspension of my D675 and never asked me my weight never mind sat me on the bike.

2. The fitted an Ohlins steering damper on my S1000, over tightened the bolts on the bracket. Bracket snapped and jammed the steering on the bike. Luckily I was going slowly approaching a set of traffic lights. 5 mins before I was going slightly faster coming down from the Ponderosa Cafe. I feel very lucky when I think back to that incident.

The aerofoils will fit but you will need the longer screws and spacers.You would also need to open out the holes(to fit the spacers)on the '10 panels.

Just for the record,'12 sidepanels fit straight on earlier bikes.

*edit you might not be able to read that link, But I complained about that was exactly what happened to me, didn't ask me if I was taking pillions, going touring, doing trackdays etc. didn't weight me.

They are getting a bad reputation now. Apparently they used to be good.


One bad thing about the 2012 panels is they need cutting for frame sliders, the earlier ones dont.
