I was getting all excited about this until I watched the vid on how it works.

Its a pity they don't make an option that simply plugs into the bike ecu. For HP4s and gen 3 bikes the data is already available without adding their hardware.

It's a bit much really. I mean it's a great idea safety wise but there's so much motorcyclists have to do before starting a journey as it is. Add to the list charging the jacket turning it on and off, forgetting to turn it on or off haha and it looks crap too with all those wires.
Give it 5 years and it'll be more streamlined.. Be good if it wirelessly charged while riding..

It's the way forwards certainly but it needs to be as simple as putting a car seat belt on, a system that plugs into the bike would remove a lot of the faff?

I suppose if you already had heated gear plugged in it would make sense for the air bag to work off the same plug.. But we've only recently got away from plugging in intercoms which was a pain if you forgot to unplug before dismounting

My brother has the D Air Misano jacket, no wires at all, it set for use by fastening the tab at the top of the zip, then the lights on the sleeve flash (just like Rossi's) and you're ready to go.

You just need to plug a charger in to it when you're not using it

Not cheap though at ?1200 but easy to use
