Hi All

First of all, Merry Christmas.

Got a couple of questions before I set to work/spend some cash, wondered if anyone could help......:

1 - bought some harris clipons ages ago but still not got around to fitting them, are there any issues with fitting these to a bike with heated grips?

2 - want to upgrade the suspension, pretty much settled on Ohlins. Any recommendations on suppliers who can fit the internals to the forks as I don't have a clean workspace? I can fit the rear shock.

3 - thumb rear brake - anybody tried to fit one to an s1000?

Thanks for any advice given.

Andy

1. Done this - Yes there are issues but not specifically related to the heated grip part. The grips on standard S1000rr bars are bolted through the tubes and in order to fir them to the Harris tubes you will need to drill them at the same location as the standard ones. It can be a bit tricky.
2. Done this but purchased full forks and shock - Looked on Ebay with a view to importing from America as they were by far the cheapest. Prior to ordering I had a discussion with FTR suspension who are a UK company (http://www.ftrsuspension.co.uk/) who price matched and provided a superb service. I have been in touch a few times since for advice etc and I have found them to be fantastic. I highly recommend them.
3. No idea but was considering one for the Panigale - let me know how you get on.

Regards
Davy
