As I am in Austin at the moment, I popped to COTA on my way back from Dallas [emoji854]

Turn 1 is possibly the greatest turn 1 in existence. Its genius. The camera doesn't show the elevation change, but trust me it fires up skywards, in a way I expect Eau Rouge at Spa does. The track gets wider given a thousand line options. Then as it the rise crests, the riders have to commit to an apex they still can't see. And its a full ~120-140degree corner so its basically a hairpin.
If thats not enough the crowd get an awesome view from the start and finish straight. Up the rise and then the plunge down to T2. Just another reason to love it.
From the T2 downhill right they start the snake. 3-4-5-6-7, left-right-left-right-left as fast as you can say it...that section is what I want to ride, alas no bike days are on whilst I am here.
Just standing looking at it I am a bit gutted, one day I will be back.
