hiya guys ,

going to be changing my sprockets and chain soon , just wondering what to go for ?

looking to increase the acceleration , don't mind loosing a bit of top end.

anyone know what size, numbers etc to go for?

cheers

-1/+2 is what I role with, Experimented with stock, -1/+1 and -1/+2

Gen2/3 are 17/45 525 OEM.

16T on the front makes an appreciable difference, need to lengthen the swingarm (move the axle back) to get back to ~608mm wheelbase when it's done.

Stick with 525 if using it on the road.

Manufacturers and specific options have been discussed a few times. B&C Express, BikeHPS, Performance Parts Ltd etc all can supply various.
A cheap chain is probably a weak chain.
You can have steel or alloy for the sprockets the former is tougher, latter lighter, your choice.

I also have a 47t sprocket for sale (520 chain) still in packaging ;) ;)

[emoji23] early morning joke buddy ... clocks have gears ( so long as not digital) so lowering the gears results in a longer day ... get more out of ur day .
And believe I need shorter days right now !

What’s up Jay, How come you have time on your hands?
Hope nothing more than just a break from work.
